Larry's Story: Living a Life He "Wouldn't Trade With Anybody"
Larry started seeing double while taking down the Christmas decorations in early 2006. An MRI prompted a referral to University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview. There, he and his wife were stunned to learn that he had a plasmacytoma at the base of his skull and multiple myeloma , a related cancer of the blood. Following months of treatment and a double autologous transplant , Larry is now in complete remission and not taking any medication for his multiple myeloma.
